My So-Called Freelance Life by Michelle GoodmanI wanted to let Queercents readers know about my recent Comfortable in Your Own Skin Podcast. This latest installment features an interview with or my thoughts on her book My So-Called Freelance Life.

Michelle has been freelancing since 1992 and has a rich and varied experience as a writer. As she shares in her own bio, her 16-year freelance career has given her the chance to work with everyone from book publishers to high-tech empires to peddlers of new-age products, wrangling text on pet accessories, video games, voice recognition software, marital aids, home colonics, and just about anything else that can be sold. As you can imagine that sort of varied experience leads to an exciting conversation!

In my chat with Michelle we talk about her books as well as the personal qualities necessary to truly be successful as a freelancer and creative professional for hire. She has some great stories to share about her own journey as well as advice for folks new to the freelance journey.
