If you have stopped by Queercents this weekend, then I suspect that you’re bored or stuck at work. We’re in the midst of a traffic lull. If you think the same trend happens around Christmas, it doesn’t. By then, money is top of mind with the New Year approaching and people are either in a financial panic or their planning mode. But over Thanksgiving weekend’¦ people just tend to be offline.

So if you’re here, this provides a perfect opportunity to make a quiet call to those writers lurking in the shadows. You know who you are. You stop by, but don’t comment. You quickly read our posts and then surf on your merry way. But deep down you have something to say about the queer topic of money. Now is your time to speak up.

Why? Because once again we’re looking for a few new writers to pen those multi-part posts on topics that we haven’t yet covered at Queercents. I did this six weeks ago and the response was wonderful. This is when Rachel, Michael and Alex came on board to launch their series. Neil Scott will come out later this week with a new one as well. But I know there are more of you wishing for that brief moment in the QC spotlight.

So if you have a series idea, I’d love to hear what you have in mind. If it’s a fit for our audience, then I’ll have you posting in a flash! Send an e-mail to: nina AT queercents DOT com and tell me about it.
