A few new contributors have joined Queercents in our effort to expand coverage and bring you the best financial content for the LGBTQ community.

Lisa Spinelli has been blogging for over a year after starting the site, Greener Pastures: Responsible Personal Finance. She blogs in order to interact with others that are working to create a stable and financially secure life – and does this from the perspective of a baby boomer with her unique spin on frugality, sustainability and her liberal political views. Carol Christie is a Registered Investment Advisor and a happily married lesbian (in CA, MA and NY!) passionate about making the most of available strategies and legal protections currently available to the Rest of Us while we strive for equal rights under the law. She also has a fee only financial coaching practice serving individuals and small businesses with a special focus on non-traditional couples. Carol’s first posts will be a series called The Pyramid Metaphor‘¦ financial planners use a pyramid as a metaphor for fiscal fitness much like nutritionists use the Food Pyramid. Fiscal fitness is optimized when built upon a solid foundation’¦ and it’s the perfect time of year to get fit!
