The thing I like most about Queercents is our readers. And lately more of them have been becoming contributors. It’s so great that people are stepping up to the proverbial plate. We have three new writers taking their turn at taking action!

1. First up is Nichelle Stephens. Remember my request last week for someone to assume the reins of Ten Money Questions? She will be taking over this money series starting in January. Nichelle Stephens is a freelance bookkeeper, blogger and social media strategist. She is the founder of the blogs Keeping Nickels and I Can Bring Home The Bacon. She also has promised to bring home the interviews. Learn more about Nichelle by clicking here.

2. Debt reduction anyone? Cate Burlington finished her BA in Economics in 2008 at the age of 25. The debt that Cate acquired in college provided her with a fast education in the realities of personal finance. She believes passionately that everyone should have basic financial literacy, preferably before life thumps them over the head with it. She will write a series of articles about how people get into debt, how wide-spread the problem really is, and most important, what works to get out of debt permanently. Her first post will appear this week. Learn more about Cate by clicking here.

3. Finally, grab your tool belt. Bradley James will launch a series in January about home improvements and renovations with a financial eye on the budget. Bradley and his partner lived in Vancouver, BC where Bradley works in the field of recruitment. Among his passions are wine, family history, home improvement, and friends! In the meantime, if you have the urge to say something about money and want to write a series at Queercents, then by all means step up to the plate by sending an email with your ideas to: nina AT queercents DOT com.
